We had such an amazing time at Croyde Bay Resort from start to finish!

Check in was quick and simple, the staff were lovely and explained everything clearly and showed us on the map exactly where we needed to go.

The lodges are just amazing, so spacious, homely and just gorgeous!! I actually had such amazing night’s sleep in the lodge, I think this was because the bedding was just like heaven! The boys loved every second… our lodge faced the park so my eldest was able to play in freedom without mum and dad being stood there hovering (but he was still in our full view!)

The decking on the lodge is just gorgeous, each morning I would sit with a cup of tea taking in the beautiful views! We even ate our dinner out there most nights.

The site itself, just gorgeous…the beach is so so close and the views, the sand, the sea…just breathtaking! We enjoyed our days in the sun on the beach and also loved to have a nightly walk on there too! The sunset is just beautiful and, if the waves are a bit choppy you might see some amazing creatures washed up!

Whilst at the resort we managed to try out the breakfast and lunch menu and both were just lovely! The staff were really helpful and our meals came really quickly too which is a bonus when you have a toddler who doesn’t like to wait! Ha-ha!

The little village is only a 10-minute walk. We took a few strolls down there and enjoyed ice cream and bought a few souvenirs too! We also enjoyed a day out at The Big Sheep farm! The animals were cute and we enjoyed a couple of rides there too. Widemouth Bay beach isn’t too far too in the car. Another stunning beach and village if you fancy exploring more! We didn’t always eat out. When we arrived we drove to the local Tesco and did a bit of a shop. I loved cooking the meals to eat on the decking 🙂

After 3 nights in the lodge, we moved to the hotel. These are perfect for families as they have interconnecting rooms if needed. A kitchenette with a fridge, microwave oven, toaster and kettle! We stayed on the bottom floor and they even have a little outdoor seating area which is great.

Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at Croyde Bay Resort and we cannot wait to return. The resort itself is just amazing, it’s gorgeous and has everything you need for a break away (and more!) Perfect for families, couples and surfers of course too!
