Family breaks to remember

As one of the top holiday resorts in North Devon, Croyde Bay Resort has all the ingredients for your best family holiday. Allowing you to enjoy that all important together time. Family holidays in Devon have never been better.

With accommodation ranging from double hotel rooms to four bedroom lodges and lots of options in between – there is a great choice of accommodation for you, whether it’s just your small family or extended family and friends and whether you want a full kitchen to cook a feast or want to eat out at the resort’s restaurant or the local pubs.

As the resort is nestled behind the sand dunes with access to the legendary Croyde beach and has an on-site surf shop offering hire and lessons, you have all you need for those beach days and sunbathing sessions.

Once you’ve had a long day at the beach, come back to the resort enjoy relaxing dip in the pool or take a few minutes out in the sauna or steam room!

Relax as a family on your lodge decking or take the few minutes stroll into Croyde village. There you’ll find family friendly pubs and after dinner ice cream. You can also enjoy various indoor and outdoor games around the resort or in your accommodation.

One thing our family guests love about the resort is that it’s ‘small enough but big enough’ so there’s plenty to pick and choose from. There’s no cars passed the two main carparks, so it’s nice and safe for the children to run around and play. The one thing that gets brought up most of all though by guests is how great our location is with the direct beach access from our private beach gate onto the sand dunes.

So come on over for a perfect family holiday in Devon, just steps from the beach in Croyde.

My husband and I stayed for three nights in December. The weather was epic, high winds and rain. However, that didn't spoil it we had a wonderful time. The resort is beautifully kept and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The lodge we stayed in was new and very comfortable and slept six with two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and open plan lounge diner and the facilities onsite well cared for. The location, just behind the dunes of the beautiful Croyde Bay was spectacular. Just a few minutes walk and you are on the beach. There is a great pub just up the road and the bar and restaurant on site are good too. We would definitely come back again.

My Wife and I together with two friends stayed at Unison Croyde Bay Holiday Camp for a long weekend in November. The whole place was very quiet due to being out of season, but oh so restful. The food was good as was the service of all staff. The Lodge we stayed in was spacious, clean and more than adequate for our stay. We had cooking, cleaning, dish washing and clothes washing facilities. This combined with three bedrooms, one with en-suite as well as a separate bathroom/shower, Central heating and double glazing. Excellent all round.

Hiding right behind the dunes, with a pool, games room, tennis court, mini gold, bowling green and bar - we love this place. 15% off for Unison members. There is a variety of accommodation to choose from, ranging from an upstairs room in the main building (just over £100), to a downstairs room (with outside access and patio), to chalets which can accommodate larger parties and finally the top drawer lodges at about £170/night. These are amazing! Fitted kitchen, tiled bathrooms, Netflix and decking with tropical foliage trimming. Its had to leave them to go to the beach.

Came down for my brothers wedding from Manchester. Excellent location, great hotel, made me wish I was a Unison member. Lovely people, helpful and friendly. Tasty scoff in pleasant surroundings, everything felt clean, fresh and the whole place looks like the people who work there to maintain it take pride in their work. I imagine people who come to stay for a holiday rebook often. When I come back down to visit family, this is where I'll stay.
