With half term soon approaching, here’s a run down of the best bits for you and the family to enjoy in Croyde and North Devon this Easter!

Milky Way Adventure Park 

Try out Ziggy’s Blast Quest, the newest ride at the Milky Way! Visitors are loving riding the Cyber Scooters and blasting meteors to save Planet Earth … but be warned, you’ll want another go again straight away to see if you can beat your score!

-Fantastic live shows – perhaps catch one of their new Lugger Falcon chick Twinkle’s first Bird of Prey Show appearances 

-One of Devon’s longest running and most popular activities 

-Ride the thrilling 30 feet high, 200 feet long Gravity Rider donut slide ?

Big Sheep – May Half Term (25th May – 31st May 2019)

The BIG Sheep is hosting a Unicorns and Dragons Week during May Half Term and is inviting children and adults to get dressed up in their best Unicorn and Dragon outfits.

-The rides, attractions and live shows will be available throughout Half Term including pet’s corner sessions and lamb feeding

-The famous sheep race, pick your winner!

-Large indoor play area if wet weather strikes!

Combe Martin Wildlife Park – LOVE YOUR ZOO WEEK (27TH MAY – 2ND JUNE 2019)

Find out how the wildlife park and resident animals are involved in conservation, education and research.

-Talks about the history of dinosaurs with The Dinosaur Man

-Live sea lion show daily

-Lots of animals including lions and wolves!

Quince Honey Farm

 Try the all new Quince Honey Farm in their new location just off the link road!

-See how a real honey farm works with lots of activities

-Various talks throughout the day including – Critter encounters, Bee’s wax and candle rolling and Tractor tours!

-Beekeeping experience days

Clovelly – Seaweed Festival (Sunday 26th May 2019)

The Seaweed Festival has talks, workshops, and demonstrations, such as “Know your Seaweed” talks by Emma Gunn. Adam Reeve, who forages local seaweed, will also do a demonstration and talk. 

-Live music, street entertainment and craft activities throughout the day.  

-Standard admission charges include all entertainment.

-Learn all about the unique history of Clovelly then or any day during half term 

Arlington Court – Treemendous Tree Trail

Wander through the grounds as you look out for the treemendous tree trail activity boxes. Pick up a trail booklet from reception and start exploring the grounds at Arlington Court to find some of their terrific trees. 

-Have a go at leaf rubbing and see if you can identify all of the trees to claim to your prize! 

-£1 per trail + Normal admission fee.

-National Trust owned property with historic house and trails

Go Surfing or SUPing with Walking on Waves

Hire boards and head down to the waves at Croyde or get some surf lessons with Walking on Waves who are based on site. They’ll take you over to Saunton for the ideal learning conditions.

-Stand Up Paddle Boarding
