Thanks to all of our guests who stayed with us this year (many of you stayed more than once!). We really appreciate you coming and enjoying your precious holiday time with us at Croyde Bay Holiday Resort and we will continue to listen to you to help us improve.
In 2016, we changed a few things; from the way you can book your holiday to improving the standard of accommodation. So, carry on reading to find out all that happened last year on and around the resort.

New Website
First of all, right at the start of 2016, we launched a new website! This literally changed how guests were booking overnight – everyone seemed to enjoy the flexibility of a much improved website, to be able to see all of the rooms and resort in detail before booking and then being able to easily book your room online at anytime you’d like. We still have a team on hand in the office during the day, so if you would like to speak to someone directly, then just give us a call on 01271890890. They are all based in the office here in Croyde, so have first hand knowledge of the resort and local area.
Along with updating the website, we listened to guest feedback and changed the way you pay for your holiday; now you just pay a 25% deposit and the balance is then due on arrival (or you can pay as little or as much anytime in between as suits you). We hope this helps!

Croyde Beach and Village

A lovely new deli/cafe called The Stores opened up in Croyde village. They do really good coffee and have a top selection of local bread and produce. It’s a great spot for a quick stop if you’re in the village.

Our guests continued to be surfing crazy….

We continued to get some amazing skies and sunsets……

On the Resort

We had some new Benny Bear shows this year including ‘Benny Bear’s Pirate Adventure’ which the youngsters loved and Nick, Martin and the Entertainment team had lots of praise for these.

As well as our hotel and self catering accommodation we also offered our nostalgic chalets at a fixed rate through the whole of summer. These were priced at £58 for a double/twin and £78 for a family room (15% off for UNISON members), even in peak summer holidays. These are our budget end of accommodation and great if you’re just after a base to explore the area. You will be able to get this price for this year up until March 10th when they will become £68 and £86 respectively.

Now this might not seem the most exciting news ever…. but all of the regular self catering cottages now have dishwashers! Guests were telling us that this would save mum and dad a job or two meaning more time to spend enjoying the holiday, so now the main cottages have them… who likes washing up anyway.

To finish off the year we ended in style with our annual New Year’s Eve celebration break, the night featured a 4 course dinner, live entertainment, casino games and sparkling wine toast at midnight! This break sold out really early so make sure to book if you’d like to join us this year. It’s only of my favourite events of the year!

Thank you for staying with us this year…..
