After the recent government announcement, many of you have booked to stay with us this year or are thinking about booking your holiday to Croyde, so here’s a little update on how things will work as we reopen this year. Please note some of these may change during the season.
On The Resort, refurbishments & Check-In Procedures
- We have been busy refurbishing lots of our Hotel & Cottages during lockdown, some with new kitchens and flooring, some with new furniture and curtains and all have been freshly decorated.
- Fast check-in procedures – we will process any balance owed and email you all the paperwork we need you to agree to prior to arrival – then all you need to do is walk through reception and collect your keys!
- Options for all the family – Multi-generational holidays can be a great thing but if some party members want their own space, you can make use of our different rooms types (lodges, cottages and hotel rooms) and we will make sure you are as close as possible so that you can all get together for the day and evening.
Outdoor Space
Enjoy private outdoor space when staying in our lodges, cottages or ground floor hotel rooms.
The lodges have a 3 metre decking with outdoor furniture, the cottages have a small outdoor area with picnic bench and the ground floor hotel rooms open out on to your own patio, table and chairs.
There’s also plenty of outdoor space around the resort, from large playing field and open green areas to the direct access to Croyde beach and that fresh sea breeze.
Dining Options
Initially we will start with outdoor dining from April 12th, running this throughout the summer so you can dine al fresco on our restaurant patio, keeping warm with our new heaters of course!
Once indoor dining resumes you can dine at well spaced tables in our large Bay Restaurant, we will start by running at 40% capacity. You can enjoy a hearty breakfast in the morning and in the evening a choice of fantastic local steaks, pizzas & burgers all very moderately priced without loosing any quality.
We will also offer a take away menu and can deliver food to your accommodation if you prefer!
Activities On The Resort
The swimming pool will be available for pre-booked slots for you to enjoy! You will be sent a link about how to book before you arrive.
There is a big choice when it comes to outdoor activities; large playing field, volley ball court, tennis court, bowling green, outdoor games like table tennis and football, play park and crazy golf. All of these are included for free with the stay.
We also have an on site surf school called Walking on Waves where you can book lessons or hire surf equipment.
