This application is made and accepted subject to the following conditions:

 

1 The balance of fees must be paid 8 weeks before commencement of the holiday. All cheques should be made payable to UNISON, crossed and forwarded to: Reservations, Croyde Bay Holiday Village (UNISON), Braunton, North Devon EX33 1QB.
2 The Village reserves the right not to offer accommodation to any applicant.
3 Visitors must vacate rooms/cottages by 10am on the day of departure. Rooms are not available for occupancy before 2pm, Cottages before 4pm.
4 Fees paid are not returnable in the event of visitors leaving The Village before the end of the full period of their booking. No request for refund of fees can be entertained.
5 Whilst every effort will be made to meet visitors’ preference for certain rooms, no undertaking can be given that any particular room will be allocated.
6 All fees are subject to alteration due to an increase in Government taxes.
7 All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
8 Dogs, cats or other pets cannot be admitted to The Village (except guide or listening dogs).
9 Valuables or other effects may be handed to the Duty Manager for safe custody and a receipt will be given. Although every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the safety of such articles handed over for safe-keeping, no legal responsibility can be accepted and, in particular, no liability is accepted if they are damaged, lost or stolen, except as a result of negligence of The Village, its servants or agents.
10 To prevent possible introduction of infectious disease, visitors must inform The Village before the date of the proposed holiday if any of their party have recently suffered, or lately contacted others suffering from, infectious complaints, which could infect staff and visitors at The Village. In the event of such suffering or contacts, the booking will be cancelled or the guest asked to leave if their holiday has already commenced.
11 For the purpose of this booking, those persons eligible for Senior Citizen’s rates will be deemed to be those aged 60 years and over by the day of arrival.
12 All visitors will be required to comply with the relevant licensing laws.
13 Consumption of alcoholic or other beverages not purchased from The Village’s bar facilities will not be permitted in the bar, restaurant or clubroom.
14 Behaviour should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive, especially at night. You must show consideration to, and not impair the enjoyment, comfort or safety of your neighbours, or other guests, staff and the general public. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the police being involved and exclusion without compensation.
15 An administration fee of £10 per booking will be charged for amendments to booking details once the holiday has been confirmed.
16 The person making the booking must be a member of the party and only the customers listed on the holiday booking confirmation may occupy the accommodation.
17 Self-catering cottages – you are expected to use your accommodation and its contents with care and are responsible for any and all damage caused to them. An inventory of the contents of the Cottages is available in advance on request. On departure you should leave your accommodation in a clean and tidy condition. We reserve the right to charge you for any extra cleaning or missing items. We reserve the right to enter your accommodation at any time for any reasonable purpose, for example, to make checks, or carry out essential inspections, maintenance work or repairs.
18 Complaint procedure – if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your holiday, please speak to the Duty Manager. In most cases they will be able to help immediately, but if you remain dissatisfied please ensure that your complaint has been recorded. If we have not dealt satisfactorily with your complaint by the end of your holiday, please write within 14 days of departure.
19 We reserve the right to alter or substitute advertised activities/artists with a similar alternative.
